HOW IT WORKS

Route editor is a tool to help you maintain all those nasty looking URL's into more pleasant ones for your customers. Instead of something along the lines of

http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?route=account/login

you could instead have

http://www.yoursite.com/login

This mod also removes the index.php?route=common/home from any home links

A new feature of Route Editor Pro 2.0 is the ability to rewrite custom content items with additional url parameters, such as blog URLs, not just basic routes. So you can now rewrite

route=blog/blog&blog_id=123

into a nice clean SEO URL like

http://yoursite.com/my-blog-post

Links like these are more likely to be bookmarked too, as people aren't wanting to bookmark url's 200 characters long in what they consider total nonsense

This mod also supports multiple languages, so you can have for example
/login for your English site, and
/connecteur for your french site

It will also automatically switch language based on the keyword
